I Went in Search of Mountains

July 23, 2014 Melody Overstreet

I went in search of mountains.I was quietly asking the world what stories it wanted to tell.

It is hard to see the mountain for what it is when you are standing on it.

I came across the home of a willow, instead. I stood at its feet, and watched.

Roots part concrete, forming a channel.

Here, the root is walking upon feet.

Roots parts concrete, forming a channel.

And, a wandering Willow befriends Lupine.
